“Happy Holiday” Goodies

Man, this holiday season has been crazy busy! I’ve been baking, making, and shopping my little heart out.

Dark Chocolate Holiday Pretzels with almonds & sprinkles.

1. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler on low (chocolate burns easily).

2. Using a spatula, dip pretzel rods in chocolate and “paint” the rest of the rod. Paint the pretzel twists.

3. Decorate and place pretzels on a plate lined with wax/parchment paper so they don’t stick to the plate and break once set and you try and peel them off. Guess who did this? Yup, me.

4. Place in fridge until chocolate sets, peel off carefully, and voila!

Great as gifts or for your own personal use!

Tip: You could use the waffle shaped pretzels, this will prevent chocolate from dripping through the holes and getting all over your hands.

Perfectly moist and crumbly. The raisins add a nice natural sweetness without being too sweet.

Sorry guys, this is a family recipe and I cannot give it up. Comment if you want it, and I’ll consider releasing a “consumer” version. Happy Holidays!
